To improve the lives and experiences of our residents. To support our teams and make them happier. To be innovative and thoughtful in our work. To share in the highs and lows. We’re always honest – we’ve got nothing to hide. We respect that every person is different. But there are plenty of things that connect us. We want the same things – to be happy and healthy.

We build communities

Enjoying the time we spend together. Staying in touch. Helping and supporting each other. Celebrating what we have in common and our differences. Care homes are built on relationships. Between residents, our team, families, local people, charities, professionals. The list goes on. There are so many people who contribute to making a safe and happy home. We create the environment – lots of amenities, lots of opportunity – and everyone is welcome.

We create opportunities

We take a proactive approach to providing people with opportunities. Having a purpose, a sense of meaning and choices can be hugely beneficial to creating a healthy lifestyle and a better personal outlook. We are keen to make this happen for all our residents and our teams. Maybe this means we must step out of our comfort zone. Maybe we have to do something that hasn’t been done before. Maybe we won’t be able to do everything. But we’ll always try to give a person the opportunity they deserve.

We are humble

Anavo started as an idea – passionate people who felt elderly care could be better. We are grateful to do the job we do and privileged that people give us the opportunity to try and deliver better care for their loved ones. It’s a massive responsibility and we do not take it for granted. We’ll always strive to do the best we can, be kind and continuously try to improve.

We plan for the future

We are committed to leaving a positive impact on the people and places we are responsible for. The world’s resources are finite, and we need to protect them for future generations through the actions we take. This can be through changing our own behaviour to reduce our environmental impact or as a business working with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. Everyone at Anavo has a part to play to build a brighter future.
