Care with a
spring in it’s step

We know it’s a big call to choose care for a loved one. Maybe their health has declined, or it’s simply not suitable for them to remain with you. There can be many different first steps to considering care.

And we know that everybody is different, with unique requirements, needs and personalities. So it felt important that we build out the care we offer into 4 distinct areas.

Nursing Care

Nursing Care

Nursing care is for people with long-term conditions, medical or rehabilitative needs requiring 24-hour support.

Short-Term & Respite care

Short-Term
& Respite care

We understand that you need a break sometimes. Our short-term stay care gives you just that knowing your loved one is in the best hands possible, round the clock.

Specialist Dementia Care

Specialist
Dementia Care

Residents usually come to live in one of our specialist dementia care homes because of a decline in memory or cognitive ability. As a result, they are no longer able to perform everyday activities and live independently.

Palliative Care

Palliative Care

We understand that caring for someone at the end of their life can be an emotional time. Our Palliative care takes a holistic approach, by focusing on the 'whole' person.

There’s lots
of love for
Marlborough House

I visit Marlborough House 4 to 5 times a week. Staff are always very friendly and always make me feel welcome. I do feel that my mum is very well looked after. My mum has been in Marlborough House for almost 6 months now. Her anxiety, general health and appearance have definitely improved. She seems happy that she is being looked after so well.

My mother moved to Marlborough House a year ago from hospital on end of life care. Within two weeks she had gained strength and withon a month or two was almost back to how she was before being in hospital. I put this down to the care she has received at Marlborough House. The staff are all wonderfulm so kind and caring. The manager is responsive and always available. The food is excellent, my mother was not eating much at home, but now really enjoys her meals.

We are so delighted Mum is at Marlborough House, she’s very happy. I would wholeheartedly recommend the home.

Gillian T

Daughter of Resident

My dad moved into Marlborough House in January 2025, and the difference in him since then has been remarkable. He was struggling with various health issues after a lengthy hospital stay, but, thanks to the consistent, compassionate care he now receives, his wellbeing has greatly improved.

The staff are always warm, welcoming, and professional. Dad is immobile and needs to be moved by hoist into his chair, and this is always done with care, dignity, and encouragement. They support him to get up and out of bed as much as possible, which has helped keep him more engaged and comfortable.

We’re so grateful for the exceptional care he receives. It’s made a world of difference to him and given our family real peace of mind.

Julie C

Daughter of Resident

My mum was 98 and was taken unwell on 4th January 2024. She was admitted to a hospital then a different hospital and then to another care home for further rest during her stay at the home she developed delirium and the delirium team moved her to Marlborough House Church Crookham in about May. Her stop there was until her death on 15th July 2024. Omg her care at Marlborough House was exceptional even I couldn’t have given my mum the love, attention, dignity and respect that all the staff there gave her from the top assistant manager to the cleaners. The nursing care team and carers are outstanding in their field. It is warm and welcoming and I can’t express the thanks I have for each and every member of the team who cared for my mum. A special mention to one nurse in particular who had the upmost respect for my mum as she passed, that moment will stay in my heart forever.

Wendy S

Daughter of Resident

My mum came to Marlborough House in March 2024. Her needs were complex, but I can not praise the entire team enough. The care is outstanding. Staff are friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble. They have looked after her with kindness and dignity.
From management, admin, nurses, carers, kitchen staff, cleaners, laundry and maintenance – everyone made this move to a nursing home so much easier.

I would definitely recommend.
