Booster vaccinations at Berehill House and Wessex Lodge Nursing Home
Berehill House is a substantial historical property, constructed around the end of the 19th Century, that can cater for up to 24 residents within the main building and a further 11 in the newly built extension. It can be described as a luxury country-house style home.
The main home is cosy and homely and retains many original features, particularly its spectacular old-English-styled dining room. All the bedrooms are light and airy with predominately en-suite facilities.
The bedrooms in the new extension are modern and luxurious with en-suite facilities and some having their private patio area.
Our philosophy aims to enable our residents to live in a safe, caring environment. We strive for all residents to maintain as much of their independence as they can. Our fully trained staff are at hand 24 hours a day to provide care with dignity and individuality.
All en-suite bedrooms have been decorated with soft furnishings to provide a warm, homely environment. Residents are encouraged to add their personal touch to their rooms.
Each room offers relevant safety features, including thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors, and a 24-hour call system.
The Home has well-furnished lounges and a dining room, which provide relaxing meeting areas for residents and their guests. Outside, the garden and patio areas offer our residents a chance to relax in warmer weather.
Our activities coordinator organises a weekly schedule of activities and entertainment to keep life fun and engaging for our residents. Residents can explore the local community and beyond through trips and excursions in our minibus.
The home is very much community-based with lots of input from local schools, churches and mosques.
Our chef creates delicious and nutritionally balanced meals designed to cater to our residents’ likes and tastes. We can also assist with eating and drinking.
We maintain good levels of hydration and nutrition, particularly amongst our residents with memory loss.

“I must say your update always brings a tear to my eye or a lump to my throat when I read the week's news and what you all have been doing with your residents. YOU and EVERYONE are BLOODY MARVELLOUS in how you are coping in these difficult days. I cannot thank you enough for looking after our mum.”
“I just wanted to thank you for the video of Dad. My youngest, Freddie, always went to football with him and they would sing the songs together. Freddie thought Dad had forgotten who his team was and especially the songs, so his face lit up when he saw Dad dancing and singing. That truly was a special moment for him so thank you.”
