About Berehill House Care Home in Whitchurch

Berehill House is a substantial historical property, constructed around the end of the 19th Century, that can cater for up to 24 residents within the main building and a further 11 in the newly built extension. It can be described as a luxury country-house style home.

The main home is cosy and homely and retains many original features, particularly its spectacular old-English-styled dining room. All the bedrooms are light and airy with predominately en-suite facilities.

The bedrooms in the new extension are modern and luxurious with en-suite facilities and some having their private patio area.

Our philosophy aims to enable our residents to live in a safe, caring environment. We strive for all residents to maintain as much of their independence as they can. Our fully trained staff are at hand 24 hours a day to provide care with dignity and individuality.

What people say about us?

“I must say your update always brings a tear to my eye or a lump to my throat when I read the week's news and what you all have been doing with your residents. YOU and EVERYONE are BLOODY MARVELLOUS in how you are coping in these difficult days. I cannot thank you enough for looking after our mum.”

Relative of a resident

“I just wanted to thank you for the video of Dad. My youngest, Freddie, always went to football with him and they would sing the songs together. Freddie thought Dad had forgotten who his team was and especially the songs, so his face lit up when he saw Dad dancing and singing. That truly was a special moment for him so thank you.”
