About Newark Care Home
Newark Care Home offers residential care, nursing, and dementia care plus, respite and convalescent care. The care home has a particular expertise in assisting residents with specific medical needs with a team of highly skilled registered nurses.
Newark Care Home is set in the suburbs of Port Glasgow and is easily reached from the surrounding areas of Greenock, Bishopton, Erksine, Paisley and the Western suburbs of Glasgow.
Newark Care is a 61 bedded care home, all with en suite that is split into four units so nowhere appears too large. The care home is fortunate to have a large and gorgeous garden. Newark is a huge part of the local community and residents visit other homes in the area and other excursions.
The home was purpose built and designed to meet the needs of older people, with large comfortable lounge areas to relax in and comfortably socialise with others.
All surroundings are of high quality and there are outdoor areas and gardens to take in the fresh air and enjoy the seasons.
Our activities coordinator organises a weekly schedule of activities and entertainment to keep life fun and engaging for our residents. Residents are able to explore the local community and beyond through trips and excursions in our own minibus.
Our chef prepares a delicious menu of three meals a day plus snacks. Personal preferences and dietary requirements are fully catered for so that all residents look forward to mealtimes.
