Home Manager

Eileen has 25 years’ experience in care home management involving group portfolios. “What matters the most to me and my team is achieving positive outcomes and quality of life for those in our care.”

What people say about us.

“I find the staff very approachable to talk to about things. I know my mother is safe and protected by staff in the care home. The staff know my mother’s likes and dislikes and respect these. The staff treat my mother with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff keep me updated with all aspects of Mum’s ongoing care.”

Daughter of Resident

As a result of advancing Alzheimer’s disease, my father’s care needs could no longer be met at home. He has always hoped not to go to a care home. As a family, this was a difficult decision to make. Much to our relief, he feels ‘at home’ in Newark. As a nurse myself, I am in no doubt this is due to the support we have all been given by the management and staff to support our transition. The level of care and compassion we have experienced have been tangible. Excellent!

Daughter of Resident

Newark Care cared for my mum for the last few months of her life. The staff were forever helpful and considerate and during the pandemic adhering to rules but creating a home family environment and became family to my mum when we were not able to physically get in there to see her. My mum, being a local lady, we feel could converse with the cheery staff and made her time there most comfortable. The staff there must be under extreme pressure in these times, and I will be forever grateful for their kindness to my mum and to us the family on the outside.

Daughter of Resident

As my mum's dementia gets worse, she is now significantly more reliant on all the staff in the facility, but I find that she is still treated with the dignity, compassion and kindness that I would always wish for her. All staff, including management and carers engage with her, making her days so comfortable and happy as they can. Staff are interactive and supportive of my mum and keep myself informed of any issues that may arise. I am grateful for their care, help and attention to my mum's well being.
