Hailsham House announces opening of new Holly House care unit

Hailsham House is delighted to announce that its brand-new, 27-bed Holly House unit will open at the end of July 2026, offering exceptional care in beautiful surroundings and a warm, welcoming community.

Holly House will provide a range of personalised care services, including residential, dementia, palliative and respite care. Its experienced team will work closely with residents and their families to provide compassionate support tailored to each person’s individual needs, preferences and circumstances.

The opening will also create new employment opportunities within the local area. Hailsham House is currently recruiting nurses and carers to join its dedicated team and help deliver high-quality, person-led care at Holly House. Applications are welcomed from individuals who want to build a rewarding career while making a meaningful difference to residents’ lives.

The new unit will be officially unveiled at Anavo Around the World, a special community celebration taking place at Hailsham House on Wednesday 5 August 2026, from 12pm to 3pm.

The event will celebrate the diversity, inclusion and community spirit that make Hailsham House such a special place to live and work. Family members, local residents, healthcare professionals, prospective employees and anyone interested in learning more about life at Anavo are warmly invited to attend.

Guests will be able to enjoy:

• Food and refreshments inspired by cultures from around the world
• Live entertainment from popular local vocalist Jason Lines
• Guided tours of Hailsham House, including the new Holly House unit
• Opportunities to meet the team and learn more about the care, community and employment opportunities at Anavo

Rui Santos, Home Manager at Hailsham House, said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome the first residents to Holly House and to celebrate its official opening with our local community.

“Holly House has been designed to provide high-quality residential, dementia, palliative and respite care in a comfortable and welcoming setting. Our dedicated team is committed to helping every resident feel valued, connected and at home while receiving care that reflects their individual needs and wishes.

“The opening will also create valuable job opportunities for people in the local area. We are looking for dedicated nurses and carers who share our commitment to compassionate care and would like to become part of the Hailsham House community.”

To celebrate the opening, Holly House is offering a 10% introductory discount on fees to its first 10 residents. Anyone considering care for themselves or a loved one is encouraged to get in touch soon, as places are limited.
