Press release: Sandstone Brook Care Home Celebrates Opening of Beeston First Floor

Sandstone Brook Care Home, a Veteran Friendly accredited care home in Whitchurch, Shropshire and part of the Anavo Group, has gone from strength to strength since welcoming its first resident to the newly commissioned home in March 2025. Home Manager Sue Dutton officially opened the Beeston first-floor community alongside members of the care team, marking the occasion with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, residents in attendance, and light refreshments.

The Beeston first floor is accessed by two lifts and provides easy access to communal areas throughout the care home. It features a dedicated dining room, resident lounge, and a range of spacious bedrooms, all benefiting from scenic views across the canal, towpath, and surrounding Shropshire countryside.

As Sandstone Brook Care Home in Whitchurch continues to grow, the team has been actively recruiting and preparing for the opening of the first floor to ensure the same high standards of person-centred residential, dementia, and nursing care that residents and families have come to expect.
