We are pleased to report that over 60 residents and 50 staff at Berehill House Care Home and Wessex Lodge Nursing Home in Whitchurch, Hampshire were vaccinated last week by Dr. Lickman and his team from Two Rivers Medical Practice, which coordinated the quick vaccine response.
Michelle Hart, the Home Manager said: “This is a landmark moment for us, for the country and the world. This past year has been like no other. Our teams have worked so hard to keep our residents as safe as possible, and we know how hard it has been for everyone not to see or hug their loved one. The vaccine is hopefully the new beginning for us.”
One of the residents of Wessex Lodge Nursing Home said: “We are so grateful to the staff, they have been magnificent, and we were all delighted to receive the vaccine.”
Dr. Lickman, a local GP who carried out the vaccinations said: “We are urge everyone who gets invited for the vaccination to get it. We are committed to getting as many people in the local area vaccinated and protected.”
