New Havant Care Home Supports Community and Charity Ahead of Opening

Excitement is building around the opening of Homewell Spring a new 78-bedroom care home in Havant, following the launch of its marketing suite on Friday 18 September.

The purpose-built home on Normandy Way will provide residential, nursing, dementia, respite and palliative care, while also creating new employment opportunities for people in Havant and the surrounding area. Homewell Spring will feature 78 en-suite bedrooms, landscaped gardens, a café, community hub, salon and other facilities for residents and visitors.

The marketing suite launch coincided with the finale of Anavo’s ‘Miles that Matter’, a week-long fundraising initiative in support of The Care Workers’ Charity.

Anavo directors Edward Moore, Jamie Braganza and Chris Stone completed an impressive 450km cycling challenge, with Homewell Spring as the final destination.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Havant were there to welcome the cyclists across the finish line and presented them with medals to celebrate their achievement.

The occasion received a further boost when Feltham Construction, who built Homewell Spring, generously presented the Anavo directors with a £1,000 donation to The Care Workers’ Charity.

“There is a real sense of excitement building around Homewell Spring, and this was the perfect way to begin our journey within the Havant community.

“Seeing Ed, Jamie and Chris complete their 450km challenge was fantastic. Having the Mayor and Mayoress there to welcome them, along with Feltham Construction’s generous £1,000 donation, made the day even more special.

“As we approach opening, we’re looking forward to creating new jobs and building relationships with local schools, businesses, charities and community groups. We want Homewell Spring to be somewhere residents are proud to call home and somewhere the wider Havant community feels welcome too.”
