The home is custom designed and built to meet the needs of older people, with large comfortable lounge areas to relax in and comfortably socialise with others. All surroundings are of a high quality and there are outdoor areas and gardens to take in fresh air and enjoy the seasons.

The Role


As a Deputy Manager, you will be required to:

  • Ensure the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standards, taking full responsibility for adherence to statutory Health and Social Care Standards.
  • Support the Home Manager to carry out preadmission assessments.
  • Have a knowledge/understanding of electronic care planning and be able to develop person lead care plans with identified outcomes.
  • Ensure the safe administration and recording of all medications in line with current legislation and Company Policy.
  • Support and assist the Home Manager in all Audit and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Support the Home Manager in leading all teams within the Care Home.
  • Manage the Care Home in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.


You will also be required to:

  • Register with the relevant professional bodies.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and competence.
  • Complete mandatory training days and online courses.


Essential candidate criteria:

  • Current NMC registration.
