The home is led by Iulia Miclea, who has been working in the care sector for the past 30 years. “I have been fortunate to work with colleagues in Marlborough House who have shown unprecedented kindness, care and dedication to our residents throughout the pandemic. We care for our residents and each other like a family and strive to provide the best of care for everyone.”
My uncle has been here for over 2 and a half years. The home has improved so much since he first came here. The staff from cleaners, carers, receptionists, manager and cooks are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My uncle is very happy here and I am glad we chose this home for him. If you have any concerns the manager is amazing and will always find the time. Excellent place.
I cannot fault the care and standard of dignity shown by the staff at Marlborough House towards my father in the 9 months he resided there. Everybody was kind, caring and helpful and the place had a homely feel about it which was one of the reasons why we chose it. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anybody thinking of taking up residence there.
My father-in-law came to Marlborough House in February 2017 from hospital as it was no longer possible to care for him at home. The room was clean and bright and the management and staff were very welcoming to the family and himself. He took part in the activities on offer and was encouraged to socialise. Families are welcome to visit at any time and the staff always took the time to speak to us. As his condition deteriorated, he was treated with love and dignity and the staff were always on hand. The nursing staff were exceptional and vigilant, nipping everything in the bud and preventing any more trips into hospital. We are very grateful for everything they did.
