About Brampton Lodge Care Home

Designed with residents’ needs in mind, Brampton Lodge is a state of the art Care Home that offers dementia, intermediate and general nursing care. The home provides a high standard of care for all its residents, with expertise in dementia.

Brampton Lodge is situated in Appleton, a pleasant, suburban area within Warrington, Cheshire. The location gives our residents and their carers access to local shops and amenities as well as transport links. There is also a purpose-built Day Centre attached to the building designed specifically with particular attention to the needs of people who use it.

Amenities

Brampton Lodge puts the residents’ care and needs at the centre of everything. The care home itself has an inviting, homely vibe and a well-maintained garden.

The home has 59 comfortable, private rooms, all with ensuite facilities. These include 30 rooms for people living with dementia, 15 for people who require general nursing and 14 for intermediate care. Each bedroom is furnished with suitable bedroom furniture, however to enable you to feel even more at home, small items of furniture, pictures and ornaments are welcome to make your room your own.

Daily activities

A weekly schedule of activities and entertainment is carefully crafted by our activities coordinator. Driven to keeping things fun and engaging to give a sense of purpose for our residents, we tailor activities to suit the needs and interests of our residents. We offer opportunities to explore the local community and further afield through trips and excursions in our minibus.

With the Day Centre facilities on site, Brampton Lodge enables our residents to not only make friendships within the home itself, but also with those in the wider community too.

Menu

Mealtimes are flexible to suit your own routine and menus are planned with your input and specific dietary requirements in mind. Everyday, our chef creates a tasty menu composed of three meals a day and additional snacks when you need, so you won’t go hungry. We provide a choice of options at each mealtime, so there’ll always be something to suit. You can even let us know what your favourite food is, and we can make it just for you.

What our families are saying

“Excellent staff and a lovely home from home.”  James

“My grandma has just left after a stay in the rehab unit. Cannot fault the staff at all, exceptional care provided by all, no pressure on the rehab, but ensured she came back home capable of most things. Can’t say thank you enough!!!” Lauren

“I have just returned back to USA after a visit to see my mum at Brampton Lodge.. The care I saw was beyond expectations. Staff truly care. I saw it every day in situations I know I could not do. Personal care, encouragement to do activities, taking time to sit and chat with their ‘guest’, they become friends. As a daughter who lives many miles away, I loved the interaction and care I saw. Many USA care homes could learn from Brampton lodge. Giving people dignity and care as they progress further into ageing. I know my mum is still here because of the care she received here. Thank you to all staff not just the medical team, staff who organise activities, staff who pass meals out with a smile, the staff who provide the friendly hello as they pass the rooms – means so much. Thank you all.” Alana
