Lancing, West Sussex

We are delighted that planning permission for a new care home in Lancing, West Sussex has been granted.

The 66-bed home will provide specialist residential, nursing and dementia care for people over 65. Work will begin later on this year, and we look forward to a successful delivery in 2022.

The home has been designed in partnership with Architects, Carless and Adams, alongside Anavo’s development partner, Liberty Care Developments.

Ed Moore, Partner, Anavo Group said: “The development will create additional jobs and opportunities for local suppliers, as well as providing much needed high quality care for older people in the area where there is a relative under supply of purpose built accommodation. The home benefits from an excellent aspect with direct sea views and will incorporate innovative eco-friendly design, such as green roofs and the latest technology to support people with dementia and those requiring residential, nursing or respite care. Every home will include open, welcoming and accessible spaces as well as Covid-secure areas which will be used by people in our care, but also by the local community.”

Construction is due to start in the summer of 2021.
